Castell Computers has added a few handy tools to provide you with better service. There are two new items worth mentioning:

1. An alert can be e-mailed to you whenever I post a new item here. Use the Subscribe link on the right side of the page, just under the RSS feeds, to set it up.
2. I have been using a very handy utility (based on Ultra VNC) to support clients remotely. The download is roughly the size of a generic Word document and requires no advanced firewall configuration on the part of the customer. From the time it’s downloaded to having me take control of the screen, is typically less than a minute. It’s been available, here, in the downloads section for weeks. I thought it was time to point it out.
