I noticed when I click the delete button at the top of GXBrowser it marks a row as deleted, but when I reopen the same table in GXBrowser, the row is still there. How do I tell GX I actually want it to go ahead and delete these rows?
Dave.

The only way to delete a row from a dBase table is to 1) Delete it (which marks it for deletion); followed by 2) packing the table.

GoldBox does not offer a pack in the GXBrowser, but you can use GXBrowser's menu to open the table in BR7, which does have a Pack option on its menu. BTW, recommend that you not delete rows from GoldBox system tables without checking here to be sure that it's safe to do so. Most of the time it is, but there are some exceptions.

I just made a mistake with a row in the GXTranslate table and was going to delete it. Is that safe?
Dave.

Yes, that's fine. Mainly, the problems involve setup tables, like the mapping table for an import, that sort of thing. Best to start over again, rather than try to perform surgery on tables like that.
