Trying to synch contacts from GM to OL(exchange)
OL: 2007
GM: 7.51.810009

In addition, it takes 3 hours for it to error out, not sure why it takes it so long, the db is 22gb~ could this be an issue? other users can synch file.
We are synch group created over night, there are only 900~ contacts in the group.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Need a lot more information about the enviroment, memory, free space. I would delete all entries in \goldmine\sync. I would not include attachments in the sync (handle them separately). You should also consider upgrading to 7.6 because it brings a lot of fixes to your version.

Im not really sure why the Outlook link is scanning the mailbox table but anyhow...

Can you outline the settings you have in the Outlook sync wizard?

The \sync folder holds transfer sets and working files relating to attempted syncs. Sometimes it will hold junk left over from failed syncs and this junk could interfere with future syncs. I would put my cursor on \sync, right mouse button and go to properties to determine if there is much stuff in that folder. If so, delete the contents of that folder.

If you cannot get GM to sync properly with Outlook, you might try CompanionLink. You can download a free 14-day trial version to test.

Good luck.

I think you're trying to sync too much data. does a smaller filtered set work?
