4. Import data sources are csv, tab delimited files and also SQL databases.

Thanks, Dexter. As you know, I'm very interested in your work. I like the direction you are taking; still a lot to do, but you'll get there! |

Hi Bob,
I'm very excited with the improvements to the app since the initial beta release. Planning on releasing a basic version, with some of the most common tasks needed by users, and most of all, making sure that we have a stable build!
Your feedback has been instrumental in most of the changes made recently to the app

Excellent, Dexter. I look forward to looking it all over in the next day or two.
Added: I just looked at the two new videos, The ability to "break" on Lookup fieldname makes your Lookup Import the best around, I think.
Adding the ability to define Group Name by expression is an important feature. Good work! |

Upcoming feature improvements in next beta build:
1) All GoldMine login and SQL connection settings are now saved separate from the process. This means that the settings can be re-used by any process.
2) Import/Update module will be supporting dbase expressions to be mapped to a target field.
The following items might be included, depending on how soon item #2 is completed:
3) Import/Update record matching.
Have other features you want to see in DBX? Download the beta build and try it out first, then send them to support@dbxforgoldmine.com

Just got back from a 2 week vacation so I will be diving into the code to get things updated. There are a lot of changes to the application, making it easier for end-users but still allowing advanced users customize the logic in the processes.
