I have used the GoldMine dBase installation a long time ago, but recently installed a new install of GoldMine dBase 6.70.50123. I am using Crystal Reports 9 to report on this new installation. So here's the issue:
I can add new entries to the GM database and CR grabs the data just fine. But when I delete data out of GM, Crystal Reports will not reflect the deletion until I rebuild the tables. Now, I know the information is not TRULY gone until you repack the tables (in dBase), but I dont see the deleted info in the tables when I open them up in Excel, so why is it still showing up in my report? I dont remember having to rebuild the database every time I wanted to get rid of the database deletions in my report way back when I was using the dBase installation!
If anyone could shed some light as to why this is happening, I would appreciate it very much.
