What's the grace period that FRS gives to customers upgrading to the newer license94.bin before the older 9.x license must be deactivated?
Thanks in advance

If you're current on maintenance on GMPE, you're welcome to run whatever version you prefer between 8.0 and 2015. If, however, you down-sized a license, I believe you have 10-days or something like that. There's a document they supply with you down-size. |

Doug:
We are certainly not downsizing and we're current on maintenance. I was under the impression that once the new keys are supplied then the old ones could not be used after a specific period of time. Placed a request to FRS for new keys and a clarification of use.
Thanks

That's not my understanding. If you're current on maintenance, you can sit on 8.5 indefinitely -- even though you might have your 2015 license in-hand, in case you decide to apply the 2015 update to which you're entitled at some later time. |

You are correct and I confirmed this with FRS yesterday. About a year ago we combined several HDAs and they did limit us on the transition period.
Thanks for your replies. |
