Read failure. (error message during rebuild of Mailbox tables)

Context: BatchMove: c:\Goldmine\GMBase\MailBox
c:\Goldmine\GMBase\XailBox

1: File: c:\Goldmine\GMBase\XailBox.DBF

BDE Error Cat:Code: [36:1]
BDE: 500 [4/11/1999] GoldMine: 6.70.70226

User: GOLDMINE
Window:
Template: 8060
Details:
FILENAME: c:\Goldmine\GMBase\XailBox.DBF

Everytime when performing a rebuild of the Mailbox tables, we got the Read Failure, and the xMailbox.dbt table had stopped with a flag reading 32931 or 8363. Once I deleted 77 emails with those flags, I could perform a successful Pack and Rebuild with Sort and Verify.

What is the significance of those flags and maybe the BDE Error Cat:Code: [36.1]

I'm thinking the failure was more related to space issues and your deletion of those records tipped the scale just enough, but, for reference, check here for info on the flag field: http://www.enigmaware.co.uk/goldmine/tabledefs/mailbox.php

Thank you so very much. I believe that is correct because I am using a very old XP Pro computer for doing the work in GM 6.7. Also, do not have a lot of Memory in that computer. I will take steps to close some programs (including SQL Server) just to have more memory available.

Thanks for your excellent comments.
