Using Goldmine 5.5. Goldmine is on my laptop. When I dock into my network at the office, everything works fine. Can receive and send email. When I go to a remote location, I can receive email, but I cannot send email. What can I do to fix this?
Thank you. |

typically you would need to change your GoldMine's Internet Preferences to use the SMTP Server of the internet connection that you are using. This might take some doing if you are just jumping on a wi-fi network. |

Sometimes it is easier to set up two separate accounts, and then swap out the Primary account based on the location. However, this should not have affected your ability to Retrieve your E-mail. I would have to say that your Remote-side is not properly configured at all, if you even have a Remote-side set up. |

I ran into this problem and solved it by contacting my ISP. They had me use a separate SMTP setting when traveling to remote locations. |
