Anyone ever have any problem with links (either from website field or embedded in e-mails inside GM) opening in Chrome?

I recently set Chrome as my default browser, and if I have Chrome open, everything works fine. However, if Chrome is not already open, Chrome gives a

Windows - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000a5). Click OK to close the application

This doesn't happen clicking links from any other program (i.e. Outlook).

GMCE 7.51.81009
Win 7

I know, I know I am now behind a version on GMCE, and Win7 isn't supported.
GMPE 9 has been purchased, and the upgrade is going to happen in the next six months, but it would be nice not to have to worry about having Chrome open for the next six months.

Thanks!

Try maiking Internet Explorer as your default and see if the problem goes away.

I don't know that I have ever tried IE on this computer, but Firefox worked fine before I moved to Chome. It does appear to be something specific to Chrome and Goldmine. I't's just odd that there would be something different between the calls from Goldmine and from any other program.

Im running Chrome 6.0.472.63 on Windows 7 and GoldMine 9 and I cannot replicate this.

It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome in case something is missing somewhere along the way.

Thanks. I might try that over the weekend. At least that is hope that the problem should go away one way or another once we move on up to 9.

While it does not have to be your default browser, GoldMine needs to have IE on its computers.
