Been running this one win 7 for a few months...no problems at all.
Added a 2nd PC running win 7 last week, no problems- until yesterday.
The new one started doing a strange thing.
The typical user account for this PC will not open in GM anymore. but I can open with another GM user. The typical user will partially open in bottom task bar, but never actually displays the program on the screen.
If I close and re-open with another user it works fine.
The user will not open on any other PCs either..
So I have gathered my user account is somehow corrupt.
Is there a way to resolve this without deleting and re-adding the user account? I don't want to lose the current calendar stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Right-click the item on the taskbar for GoldMine and select to MOVE it. Then use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move up and left for a while until GoldMine comes into view. |

If the user cant login on any machine then chances are their user.ini file is corrupt. Open the GoldMine folder on the server and locate their user.ini file (if their username is JOHN then the file will be called john.ini). Rename it to username.old (ie john.old) and see if the user can log into GoldMine. If they can, you will need to reconfigure all of their settings in GoldMine. |
