Recently I cannot sync to my Treo. I am using Hot Sync Ver. 6.0.1
Palm O.S. Software 5.2H, and Palm update software Win 414e.
The only error message is: "unknown exception, Palm Sync terminated"
I have uninstalled several times, re-installed
I cannot uninstall my Goldmine conduit, when I click on the uninstall it just closes the screen and when I open it again there is no "install" just another choice to uninstall.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated |

Keep in mind that your GoldMine predates your palm (and it's software) by about a year and a half.. I have seen folks sync their treo's using the native sync wizard in GoldMine, but I've also seen others beat their head against the wall for days on end attempting to accomplish it.
The best results I've seen are with Companionlink (www.companionlink.com) which keeps up with palm sync developments much more than the core GoldMine developers do. It's the defacto handheld sync utility for GoldMine users, really..
You might try downloading the 14day demo from their site and seeing if it does the job for you. |

Thank you for your suggestion. I was fortunate enough to try the entire process again (uninstall, install you know the drill) and did it in a slightly different order and used the Sprint software update as well.....it is now working again.
I will save the site for companion for future use in case it stops working again |
