I have a question about undeleting records in the Infomine. I am using Goldmine BCM v5.7.30503 as a standalone.

Imagine the following structure...
Book 1
__Folder 1
____page 1
____page 2
__Folder 2...

I went to create an additional folder in 'Folder 1', so I right-clicked on 'page 1' and went New>Folder.
GM created the new folder (say, 'New folder 1') BUT...
1. instead of just placing the new folder as a sub-folder of Folder 1 and at the same level as page 1 and page 2, it dumped all the existing loose pages into the new folder
2. worse, it also created a second un-named new folder inside the New folder 1 so my new structure now looked like this...

Book 1
__Folder 1
____New folder 1
______page 1
______page 2
______<new folder>
__Folder 2...

When I went to delete the unrequested <new folder>, GM seemed to start deleting far more than a single empty folder so I quickly cancelled the delete. Unfortunately, I don't know how many or which recs it may have tried to delete, or from which tables.

What have I done so far?
I have NOT tried to maintain databases
I have BR7 but it only seems to look at the .dbf and not the .dbt and other files.
The instructions in BR7 say "When a record is DELETED, an {X} appears in at the 1st Browse column" but only four recs seem to be marked as deleted and they look to be the correct ones. SO...
1. Do deletions/undeletions in the Infomine affect any other tables? ie is it likely that there are more deletions somewhere than just these four?
2. Are the .dbt, .mdx etc simply sub-parts to a single .dbf table?
3 When I undelete in BR7 does it update the .dbt, .mdx etc. files?
I have a full database program that can read/edit .dbf files if need be.

Thanks in advance for any help.
