If you have Adobe Acrobat 5.0, you can merge information into Acrobat forms. It's similar to the functionality of merging to Word documents. I had a client who had a special pre-printed form that they originally filled out by hand and wanted to print on instead. Word wasn't quite up to the task of printing exactly in the boxes. We ended up scanning the form and making it an Adobe Acrobat form. Then, we overlaid the fields on the boxes on the form and used the Acrobat link and - voila!

If you upgrade to GoldMine 7.0, the Adobe Acrobat link works with version 7 instead.
