Does anybody know if ce 7.51 will run on sql 2008? Does anybody know FRS official position on supporting this environment? Thank you |

Officially, I don't believe that it is supported, however, I have not heard of anyone having any issues between it and GoldMine CE or PE. |

The only version of GM supported by FRS on SQL 2008 is GMPE 8.5. It may run on it but your version will not be supported. Reference: FRS's latest Compatibility matrix dated June 30, 2009.
Even with GM 8.5, some FRS Techs quitely prefer SQL 2005 over 2008.
There is a new update in the works for GMCE so it might support SQL 2008 but we don't know when it will be released or what it will support. |
