We are switching away from Goldmine to another CRM software. We currently read our POP3 email thru GoldMine but in order to switch to our new CRM they want our email provider to change to an IMAP platform.
If my emails in GoldMine are all filed and in history, this change will not affect GoldMine at all correct??? OR possibly we will lose any unfiled emails that are in the inbox.
can anyone verify that for me. I just need to be sure before I say yes to this.
Thanks in advance!!!

any e-mail in your GoldMine inbox/history/files/sent folders will stay right there regardless of any changes to the e-mail server. All that would change would be what happens to the 'Online' area where you can check e-mail still on the server.
Note that if you would like to extract the e-mail in your GoldMine and have it in an Outlook PST file (commonly an import-friendly format that can be imported into other CRM systems) you might want to take a look at my tool, Compliance for GoldMine. It's made to export e-mail from GoldMine. While it is intended to export smaller sub-sets of e-mail for legal/compliance purposes, it's equally capable of exporting 'All Mail' for all users.
