Hi --
Forced to upgrade my Excel 2003 to Excel 2010. Been using Excel 2003 as my export 1000s of records from GM 6.7, certain fields were updated by 3rd party, and then re-save as Excel 2003 dbf to re-import into GM 6.7 using Account# match to update changed fields.
NOW with Excel 2010, no save as dbf format, txt format does not work (do field delimiters). I am at a loss.
How do I re-save a changed dbase in Excel 2010 that is in xlsx format into a dbf format or find a conversion program from xlsx/xls into a GM 6.7 usable dbf format?
Ideas? Suggestions?
Let me know.
Thanks.

Either send it to a friend who can convert or enter "convert xls to dbf" in Google Search. It will show you a lot of options. |

Bob,
Couldn't see the forest for the trees. Thank you for the mental shakeup. I had done the Google/Bing searches to no avail, just confusing and incomplete solutions.
But, 'checking with a friend' was the frontline solution. Actually, a laptop that my daughter had stopped using a couple years ago still had Excel 2003 and wham, bam ... done.
BUT, still remains the frustration of the lack of Google/Bing solutions findable after several hours research. Thank goodness for older PCs wit older software.
Bob, thanks again.
