Several users had emails disappear from their inboxes this morning. Older emails are still there. They are not in the trash, they're not filed, they're just gone. First time this has happened that I know of. Anybody hear of this happening?

Now one of the users' sent box has disappeared! Is there a way to get it back?

Could be a dbase database corruption problem.
Do you have nightly backups occurring? If so, verify that last night's backup of mailbox.* is good.
Once you have a verified backup, get users out of GoldMine and try database mainetnance on the mailbox table (keep the 4-gig problem in mind.)
If you're on SQL, it may be a whole host of other things. |
