Hi all,
GoldMine 6.7.50123, MasterMine 4
A remote user created a MasterMine workbook, then had a problem with his remote copy of GoldMine. This was uninstalled, as new one-button-sync copy deployed, now the workbook is trying to reference the "old" GoldMine database path when you "refresh" the data.
Is there a way to update the workbook so that it points to the new path, as it's the same database / fields etc?
Thanks!
Gryfon
PS: The user (and myself!) are struggling to create a "new" version of the same report, it's to show completed sales. We can get 99% of the required fields. But can't find a way to insert what we think is a derived field called "Combined activities" or find an equivalent field for "OnQtr" which doesn't appear to be a user defined GM field or in the tick-lists when creating the report. |

Bring up the report in question via the GoldMine menu, View (GoTo in Premium Edition) - Open MasterMine report. After the report comes up you should have the MasterMine toolbar available (in Office 2007 you have to click Add-Ins from the toolbar menu). Find the icon that is a blue circle with a white in it and click it. Select the Connection tab and look for the line Server =, and Database=. You can change the Server line to reflect the server name that you currently want the report to look at. If the "Database" name has changed you may also change it here however, you must also edit the SQL query behind the reprt to reflect the database name changes. If you only need to change the SQL server location and not the database name then there is no need to edit the SQL query. Simply make the change to the server name and click Apply Changes. |
