I am trying to access Goldbox from a new 64-bit WIndows 7 install. We are running SQL Server 2000 and GM 8.03. I had no problems with the same computer running 32-bit XP.
Like always, I navigate to the goldbox executable on the server and when the Goldbox window appears I get a window that says:
"Program Alert
Database Engine Error: Vendor initialization failed:
NTWDBLIB.DLL
File: N:\Goldmine\goldbox\gxwfuncs.prg
Routine:OPENGMSQL
Line: 3051"
If I click ignore I get two more alerts, lines 409 and 411.
Anyone know a work around?[/img] |

Somewhere in this forum I found the suggestion to copy NTWDBLIB.DLL from the server's System32 and paste into the local System32 folder. System32 didn't work, but copying to SysWOW64 did!
