Is there a way to include graphics in kb articles so that they sync out to users? Some folks would rather see the information in front of them, instead of having to open up a linked file that shows graphics and explanations. Just curious if there is a way to do this, if not, no big deal. |

There is no way within the GoldMine KnowledgeBase except via and attached document. You may try to do it by hand via HTML code in the KnowledgeBase. It may be possible to point to a web-based JPEG image. |

DJ is correct. You can use HTML to place graphics on the page. I've not attempted to do it with local images, only web based, but there's really no reason why if it works with web based images that it wouldn't work with local based images. (From your own hard drive or network)
Get a simple HTML editor like Kompozer and create your page in there. Kompozer is free from Sourceforge. It's quite easy to then take the HTML and paste it into the HTML of a kBase article. |

html is the easy part, getting the graphic to sync out is another. I could send out zip files and have the users install in the tmplinks directory with all the images. I created one test page, will see what happens. |

Wouldn't it just be easier to put the HTML on on the World Wide Web and point to it out there? Then the only thing you have to worry about syncing is your KnowledgeBase. |

Yeah, if the images in your HTML are web (or mutually-acceessible VPN-based server) based, you're done. |
