BDE Error CatCode 36.1

Upgrading 6.7.70226 to GMPE. When performing full maintenance on mailbox, I keep getting the 36.1 error.

Any suggestions would be appreicated.

I've never known what the numbers stood for... What's the text of the error?

Sorry I have been slow in answering your excellent question. My wife has been hospitalized for a while.

Here is a quote of the "Database Error"

"An error has occured accessing the database files. Listed below are specifics which may help identify the cause of the error

Sorry to hear about your wife's troubles. I hope she feels better soon!

As for the XAILBOX error, I'd look at hard drive space, BDE version (prefer 5.x) and the 4GB problem/fix.

Is there a problem with the table that necessitates the pack and rebuild? It might be simpler to just rehost it without rebuilding -- deleted records aren't rehosted.

Doug, I want to thank you 100%. On that old hard drive, I erased 20 GB of files and also stopped several programs including SQL Server just to give the project more memory and storage space. After doing that the maintenance (Pack and Rebuild with Sort and Verify) for the first time worked perfectly.
