I have Goldbox Licenced latest sql version and ACT2011 Prem (sql) and also I have Goldmine 8.5 sql.
Further Windows7 (32bits) Ultimate. and a quick P4 processor.

I like to transfer ACT2011 Prem data/contacts in one/more sessions to Goldmine 8.5,but
wonder how to set up this. Start with making an ACT-Alias in BDE and then via Import in
Goldbox ???
I struggle to get the ACT 2011 sql connection, (with Goldmine 8,5 sql) i can make via
BDE/Alias the Goldmine connection, but Alias-ACT is sofar problematic, or should it be still possible.??
I remember some month ago I did made an Alias -ACT ,but now ....(maybe new version Gbox different?)

Afraid I can't help you with that, althogh I would certainly like to know about that BDE Alias you previiously created for ACT!

Not saying it can't be done with GoldBox, but I know of no reason to believe that it can. I would recommend using a company who specializes in this sort of thing. Can't remember the name right now, but I'm sure others (Bob Gannett, for example) do.
