Please help -
I am creating a Completed Activity report by pulling the GM data from our SQL Server. I have all the fields needed from the ContHist table, but the "Notes" field isn't showing me the actual call/activity notes. It only shows:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
What I want it to say is:
S/W so and so about program. He appreciated my call, but is all set for now. OK to follow up in future.
How can I pull this data????
Thanks. |

what version of GoldMine
what report engine?
You need to parse HTML from the notes fields. Most report engines that commonly work with GoldMine have this capability. |

You may want to place in your GM.ini:
[GoldMine]
HTML_Cal_Notes=0
This will turn off the HTML Notes for future notes, however, it will not help your already created notes. To fix those you will need to use a utility like GoldBox. |

I am pulling it into access & running a query. So I am not really using a "report" writer. Can access convert the html?
I was being impatient waiting for IT to build a report on our report server through SQL Would it then show up on the report server end result?
Thanks. |
