Hello All
Could anyone help with this one, please? This one tore my brain into shreds, I can assure you.
I tried ***everything***.
What is the code for displaying the first name only in the reference field of groups?
I spent a day trying to extract the first name so as to export first name / last name / email address to a bulk email package, which is when I found I couldn't get lookup ini to work. Then found I also couldn't display the first name in the group reference field.
Why is (a) life so difficult (b) my brain not brainy?
Can anyone offer any clues on any of the above, please?

I guess that I'm not sure what you are asking, but a Group is made up of AccountNos. As far as I know there is no way to display First Name only on the Groups dialog form. You can Export the First Name of the Contacts in a Filter/Group if that's what you are asking for. |

One way would be to populate the Dear field or some other field with the first name. Then you could add that field to Reference when building group. |

...exactly. Once you have your group, do an export via export wizard and add an expression for &firstname along with the email address and presto, done. |
