This is a general question. We've used Goldmine for years, but our company moved to a cloud CRM. How do different cloud apps handle email attachments? Most can let you send/receive emails and then import/link them to contact records, but the import doesn't bring in any sent or received attachments. You have to go back to your email client program to find those. This is pretty inconvenient when talking to a customer.
I know it's related to the data being on their servers instead of ours. Large providers like SalesForce must have a solution. Any comments? |
