Hi,
I have Goldmine 9.02 currently residing on my windows 2008 server. All users have an icon on their desktop/Laptop that is a short cut the server,
I have an existing laptop that has this icon with this shortcut and I now would like to take this laptop on road with my when travelling and I would like to have all my contacts on the laptop.
How can I get all my contacts on the laptop and use it as an independent goldmine and sync it to my server when I come back from my travels ?
Is there a way to do this easily ?

not 'easily', no. It will involve installing SQL express and setting up an undocked user, GoldSync, etc. It's easy if you've done it before, very difficult if you have not. |

Basically and easily done, your Laptop must be installed as a Server using an Undocked or Site License for GoldMine.
Your current GoldMine Server could become the GoldSync Server.
However, like Doug has stated, it is only easy if you have done this before. |
