Trying to import secondary contacts and details using GoldBox 7 on GMPE 8.02.80208.
Have tried several setups, changed everything we can think of, started over again several times, but still get the same message all the time.
At least one previously mapped field was not found in the source table.
This comes up even before we have started doing any mapping.
Any help please, got to get this lot imported for a client tonight/tomorrow |

You say you've tried several setups, does this mean you are re-using setups that previously worked? If so, the new file does not have the same fields as the file associated with the file originally used in the setup.
Click on the Map button in the setup. Check in the Map Field and Map Expression columns to find the fields that are "offset" - those that are pushed over one space were used in the original setup but the field doesn't exist in the current data file. Also check the source fields column to make sure that all the fields you want to import are mapped (those are marked with an asterisk). |

No, each has been set up from scratch. This message appeared even before the first time I did any mapping at all ! |

This sounds to me like a corrupt template; but I don't know exactly how to cure it. Dave Petonic will know, so I think maybe the best thing to do is for you to contact him directly. |

Gave up - used Inaport. Fortunately this client had both anyway. Did in 20mins what I had spent 4 hours trying to do with GoldBox. No idea why, have used GBX previously with no problems, but this was my first time on PE/Vista so I assume the problem is there somewhere. |

Hate to hear it, but thanks for the report. Can you confirm for me that you found and tried the manifest files on GoldBox's site, using the Vista button on the home page? You didn't mention Vista earlier (but I should have asked). |

Sorry for not replying before, but as I said I gave up on GoldBox this time.
Yes, it is Vista, and yes I did get the manifest files OK.
Someone else in my company had been doing some other work for this client and again failed to get GoldBox to work ! |

Well, I would again suggest contacting Dave for a resolution, but he's on a two week vacation now. Glad they have a product that will work for them, at least. |
