This is more an IT question but is blocking my installation of GMLink. XP Pro with SP2. Service Pack2 comes with MCAC 2.81 installed. If this gets corrupted or damaged, you cannot replace it with another MDAC. The installed MDAC has to be "Repaired" according to information I got off of Google.
My question: If we install SP3, will this put a new MDAC on the system (or repair the existing one)? |

I strongly recommend going up to SP3... the other thing I would do is make sure that you have the latest .NET files (which should address your MDAC issues as well).

Eric - thank you very much for the fast and solid response. I will implement and let you inow how it goes. |

Eric - I just wanted to report that your suggestion to upgrade to SP3 fixed the problem. Many thanks. |
