It seems to me that it might be more productive if you'd state why the suggested product doesn't suit your needs. |

Hi Bob,
I will explain to you what I am sort of wavering on the product mentioned. I tried the demo from w-mobile. What I want is just to be able to send and receive emails on my pda and have it updated in Goldmine. Nothing else. W-mobile does this if you are logged into goldmine over the internet. I would like a system that will notify me if I got new email. w-mobile does not do this. GPRS data is not as reasonable here in canada as it is in USA. I was looking for something that every hour will go out to the internet and check for new mail and notify me or when it comes in on my computer it will push it to my pda.
this all can be done in Outlook but the problem is that when i reply to an email I have not figured out how to get this email into goldmine for a reference later. I thought of cc myself with every outgoing email.
That is why I keep asking if there is a program that can sync contacts and emails both outgoing and incoming from outlook to goldmine.

Why not just simply retrieve the e-mail messages on the PDA directly? I don't know of any product that will work with gold mine in the manner in which you have just described. |

Thanks for the reply.
I could just simply retrieve email from the PDA and it would be simpler, BUT how to keep track easily to the sent emails is what I am trying to figure out and have them somehow record in goldmine.

I totally agree with Douglas on this one, however, the next generation of wMobile will have the capability of e-mailing through GoldMine via the PDA. You may want to look into that. |

Actually, I think that generation is already here, isn't it? I haven't looked in on the wMobile product in a few weeks, but i could swear it was already there the last time I looked! |
