Outlook: 2003 (11.8325.8324) SP3
GM: 7.51.81009
GISMO: Build 134
The issue is that I can't add any GM fields as a column to Outlook inbox.
When I do a right click on column name then go to field chooser:
here what I see:
here what i see when i try to add a field:
If i go to Custom views > Fields > user defined fields here what i see:
I can link emails from OL to GM, tested and linking works fine.
Issue is only for this user, others work fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks |

Go into the folder and link an email to GoldMine, then go Custom views > Fields > user defined fields and the fields should be there to select. Ive had to do this numerous times; seems to be a bug in that version of GISMO (and several others). |

We upgraded his outlook to 2007, but still it does not work. Therefore I cant see any user defined fields in outlook even if i create them, any ideas what could cause it?
Thanks
I just figured out that i can find(the fields i need) and create new user defined fields in other folder than inbox(draft/deleted)? how can i set that i could create them in inbox? |

What did FR say when you asked them? I'm pretty sure that I remember this as a known issue. |

Just called them again they said it's not a goldmine issues - it's an outlook issue. looks like they are right. I uninstalled GISMO, tried to add user def field to inbox - it does not show up, the odd thing is that I can add and see GISMO fields in Inbox subfolders.. Any ideas? |

Not being fond of the Outlook integration, and talking my clients into using only GoldMine, I have not had much chance to test GISMO so no, I can be of no assistance here. |

FRS is about to release GM 7.6, a major update to GM 7. This may improve your situation. |
