I have setup 5 monitor for one workstation and the user is having issues using it. It has 2x 64MB ATI RADEON 7000 video cards. I set resolution to 1920x1080 for 3 monitors and 1280x1024 for 2 monitors. The issue is, when I drag a window(application) the monitor works very slow - i can see the image couple times, sometimes i can 'draw' with a window something on my monitor and then it refreshes and it is ok.
3 montior are new 21" dell monitors, other ones 17" old CRTs.
I'm not sure if it's the video cards? or power supply? Any ideas?
Thanks |

video drivers.. Not to mention 64MB cards are a bit weak to push that sort of resolution. Try 16 bit color. I have a third monitor on a pathetic ELSA card and if I put anything more comlpex than IM windows on that one, it lags out... |

Definately the graphics cards. You want to run that kind of set up then youre going to have to stick some decent graphics cards in the machine. |
