I've made a GM report and I need to sort it descending by ACTCODE. The sort options in the report properties have start at, end at, but when I enter 8 to 1 i get no data on the report. When I put it in as 1 to 8 I get data but obviously in the reverse order of the way I would like it.
Just for complete info, the report pulls Forecasted sales and we use the Activity Code field to record the stage of the forecast. I.E. 1 is Prospecting, 8 is Contract. So we want the report to show the 8's first as they are the most likely deals to close.
Thanks in advance!

As far as I know there is no way to change the sort order in an ascending or descending manner. |

Not in the GoldMine report writer, nope.
You'd need a dedicated reporting tool like Stonefield Query, Crystal reports or something of that nature to get that sort of control... |
