GM 7.0.70302. Is there a way to get the referral tab to display the primary contact's name as opposed to the Company name? (I suspect I know the answer but thought I would double check in case I missed something.) |

As you know, Referrals can get complicated, because each is a pair of records. But it appears that they are data-driven...meaning that what you see under that tab actually is in the Contsupp record, somewhere (instead of being the result of applying an expression to some data, somewhere).
And that means you can change it with a program like GoldBox, if GoldMine itself won't give you any satisfaction (and I suspect the same thing you do). If you decide to have GoldBox do it, it could become a Global Replace that you run inside a nightly Q-file, automated. I won't say exactly how that Global Replace would work; that would take a bit of research, but I'm sure it could be done. |

Thanks for pointing out the GBX solution. I will see just how important this is to my client. |
