1. Am helping Guero in his previous post regarding rolling back from 7.51 to 6.7.
My question is that will there be any dll questions and registry issues on a workstation that has connected to a GM 7.51 install and is going back to a GM 6.7 install?
For the 7.51 users who had a local install I understand a uninstall is in order, but for the users who connected via the network to the gmw.exe file will there be any possible issues for them to repoint to a gmw.exe with regards to dll files placed on their workstation and also registry issues leftover from the 7.51 connection?
2. Doug Castell posed an interesting question in that it may be possible to connect GM 6.7 CE to a SQL 7.51 SQL database which we will try. I am assuming that a rebuild is suggested using 6.7 on the 7.51 SQL database. Any thoughts on possible SNAFUs that we may encounter?
TIA

GMW.exe is the Premium file.
I would certainly uninstall all remnants of GM 7 from the workstations including cleaning out the entries in the registry.
More information is needed before I could provide any comments such as, how to you plan to do the roll back, etc. |

My bad as it is the gmw6.exe that I was referring too. Thanks Bob.
I stand corrected |
