My first suggestion would be to upgrade your GoldMine. The latest release has greatly improved the link with Outlook. If I were doing this, I would not be messing with rules. I would backup the SQL ...

Had same problem after upgrading over the weekend, but found quick and easy solution before searching forums.

All I had to do was go to Options, Speller, Setup Dictionaries, Close, OK and everythin ...

Im running Chrome 6.0.472.63 on Windows 7 and GoldMine 9 and I cannot replicate this.

It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome in case something is missing somewhere along the way.

Just a follow up for anyone interested.

A month and a half in, no problems with the setup described. I did set the database SQL Express to a compatability level of "SQL Server 2000 (80)" ...
