I have been running goldmine 6.5 on Win XP for years (was a former gm reseller). I just purchased a laptop running win 7 Pro and restored Goldmine from backup (idrive.com). I get error: users file is corrupt. I renamed the index file to no avail. User name is in the gm.ini file. I also tried master/ access. Any suggestions, greatly appreciated. |

Of course, GM 6.5 is not compatible with that environment. If you copied the a fully maintained and complete copy of GM to the W7 system, its basic features should work. |
