We have GMPE 8.5.1.12 installed on our server and when we are trying to upgrade to higher, we get below error, any clue on what it is.
SETUP WAS UNABLE TO PARSE THE DATABASE PLATFORM GOLDMINE IS TRYING TO UPGRADE

I am not sure, but some settings in dbalise.ini file, our GM rep. has done it.

In my case, apparently the system, which was a stand alone, had gotten an GM update but had never opened the database. Now we were doing another update and the installer was apparently unable to reconcile the existing exe with the existing database value.
I opened GoldMine, let it update the database, closed GM and ran the installer. Everything worked fine. |
