Hi
I have a version of GM 5.5 as I'm a bit poor and havent upgraded yet.
My problem is:
I have a lot of fields under contact2 and I would like to merge these into word 2003.
I installed the gmlink file for word but it only picks up some of the contact2 fields. When I try to edit the macro using visual basic editor it say's 'Project is Unviewable'
Does anyone know how to add fields into the ddelink? I managed to do it some years ago with GM4 but they have since updated the GMlink for word |

you should be able to simply type the fields into the insert field dialog box manually... such as contact2->urfield123, for instance...
Beyond that, insert any old contact2 field then right click on the inserted field in word and 'toggle field codes' and manually edit the field it's using there... You'd then toggle the field codes back and update them (again, via the right click menu) |

Remember that there is a limitation on the number of fields that can be linked from GoldMine to Word. |
