I'm trying to open RDC822 from mailbox, but cant get the text from it, here's what i do:
run a query in goldmine to return RFC822, but it only returns some of it, not all the text..
then I opened Enterprise manager, retunred 1000 rows from mailbox file, and in RFC822 field it says <Long Text>, how can i get the value of it?
Thanks |

You might want to try your SQL Query via the SQL Management Tools. |

You can run it in Enterprise Manager. You could also run it through GoldBox, if you have a BDE Alias for the database. The advantage of doing that is that it gives you a dBase file as the Result. That ensures the integrity of the Memo field, as long as the result set is below 2 GB in size. |

I can't answer the question about XML, except to say that it definitely will not be the same format as GoldBox would produce. |

FYI: I have a free tool that will convert a Goldmine.xml export into several .csv files - history, additional contacts, email messages, etc. Contact me directly if you are interested. www.solutuscrm.com
I use this mainly to migrate emails and data to other CRM but you can definately open the .csv and see the rfc822 bodies as text. |
