I have one user who is getting a Goldmine application hang error that references ieframe.dll. This is an Internet Explorer file and we all know GM uses IE in the background for e-mail. All of these errors occur while reading or deleting e-mail.
In every case, the app hangs and they have to restart it and log back on. Often multiple times during a day.
Any thoughts about solving an issue like this? Goldmine 9.2.1.72 IE 8 |

I think that you should consider upgrading them to IE9 or IE10. The dll may be bad, and the upgrade may fix it. |

PC is Windows XP so can't go to IE 9 or 10. But I could uninstall IE and reinstall it and see if that fixes it. Or copy the dll from another PC. Thanks, DJ! |

you might also run a spyware scan as it could be some sort of nasty-ware embedded in their IE. Does the same user experience the same problem on a different machine? |

I have done the malwarebytes scan and it did find some spyware. I have run two more scans since then and it is clean.
Will have to ask him about using a different PC. Thanks! |
