You can use GoldMine to send emails to contacts, requesting confirmation on the meeting date/time?
Here's how you can do it:
1. Configure the SMTP settings in your GoldMine to enable it to send emails. Select Edit >> Preferences >> Internet to do it.
2. When you are scheduling the activity (meeting, demo, etc.) in GoldMine, check the "Send a request with the Appt." box.
GoldMine will automatically send an iCal meeting request to your contact asking if the meeting date/time is good.
3. At the other end, your contact can choose any of Accept, Decline, Propose a New Time, etc. and his/ her email program will automatically send the response back to you. |
